Is your torque box beginning to fade away? Then you might find that sourcing a replacement can be a bit of a cat-and-mouse game. However, with our help, it can become relatively simple. At Essex Mustang Centre, we stock a variety of torque boxes and various smaller parts so you can get a full replacement, or an individual piece to get your own box back into working order.

Full torque boxWhatever you are looking for, we have plentiful supply of authentic Mustang Torque Boxes that can help you save a large amount of money in getting a replacement elsewhere within the UK.

Keep in mind that just about every torque box that you replace or restore will require some form of welding to get the job done. If you aren’t confident of carrying out the welding tasks to a higher standard yourself, we recommend getting a professional to carry it out for you instead.

Most of the time, the damage that you will find with a torque box is more individual than the entire thing breaking down – they are usually quite sturdy. If you need a specific part – for example, the top panel – then you’ll find that we have cost-effective solutions awaiting you. Our knowledge of what seems to be the most common problems with Mustang torque boxes mean that we are well prepared in terms of stock.

This means that you can get a quick and easy solution to your problems, and ensure that you have an easy route to repair. We also sell additional panels that can be added on to give extra protection and strength to the original box, and this can help prolong the life of a current torque box considerably.

If you are starting to notice rusting around the body of your box, then the actual Mustang itself can become a bit more flexible than you want.

When this occurs, making repairs to the torque box is usually the first thing that you should be looking at. You want a rigid, safe structure to your vehicle and the easiest way to get that is by improving the condition of your torque box.
